Next TCARES Meeting is 8/24
The next meeting is August 24th on our usual 4th Tue at 7PM at ARL. Join us at 10000 Burnet Road at Rutland for the meeting. Aug 24 TCARES meeting's training will be on WINMOR- the soundcard HF packet mode which approaches PACTOR2 speed at an affordable cost.
AC5YK replaces K5EJL as District 7 EC
The archives and Joe’s memory are unclear about just how long Joe has served as our District 7 DEC – it has certainly been 20 years and might be 25. Thanks to Joe for this and all the other public service things he has been involved with!
Don’s first job as DEC will be locating a replacement for himself as EC for Travis County. In the meantime, Don will continue acting as Travis county EC.
