DE Roger W5WIA:
Watch for upcoming information as we go forward in this 100th year of the Austin Amateur Radio Club.
A Technician level class is being organized for the middle of the year in hopes we can have a banner 100th-year class in commemoration of the club's celebration.
This class will draw from around the district in all directions, and there has been some early talk about the possibility of having a General level and perhaps even an Extra level class at this same time. Each of us will have a part of this with activities through the year, and it will take a considerable number of helpers to pull this off.  We need to have mentors assigned to each student, and we need instructors to help.
Please spread the word - get ready for a great year helping others to join the ranks. If you are a part of another organization that needs communications for their operations, now is the time for them to learn how and become
a Ham.
Watch day to day and week to week for continuing updates as we go forth. For those of you that want to help, please email me at  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and let me know how you want to help.
